Reluctantly selling my 1981 Callaway Turbo BMW 320i. Chestnut Red, 1.8L Turbocharged, 5 speed, Eibach springs, cross drilled rotors, front/ rear sway bars, short throw shifter, steel wrapped brake hoses, 3.91 gears, Anza exhaust, A/C, stereo/bass box. Car runs @7-8psi. Not your run of the mill 320i. This is a rare car; only about 100 produced. Most were sold in kit form. This one was hand assembled at Callaway's Old Lyme, CT shop. I'm the 2nd owner + have had the car for 20 years. A Dr. Savage bought this car brand new @ Gingras Motors in Hartford, CT and immediately took it to Callaway for the conversion. Reeves Callaway was a pioneer in turbocharging / tuning regular production vehicles and is probably most famous for mega horsepower twin turbo Corvettes. This car has always been stored winters and maintained and babied by me. Includes Callaway brochure, factory brochures, and any spares I might have. I love this car, but my collection is moving toward American cars and I really haven't driven this much in the past 2 years. Current registration and inspection. Everything functions and operates as it should. $6500. Thanks for looking. Rob

320i 1.8 and 2.0 were 4 cylinder.

I have that decal too and will make a repro sometime in the months ahead and will produce an extra for you too.

I tracked down a legendary 2.0 turbo motor that was built by "Whitey" at Callaway many, many years ago. He still works at the shop and this motor is a 300hp hot rod with a history of that is pretty cool. Details soon.... :thumbs
