Post by OrangeMike99 » Thu Jul 14, 2011 3:58 pm

Hi Big John
I'm converting my 2002 to a c8 body
I was wondering if you could give me a call. I have some questions about it. 401 447-1673.
Thanks Mike

This should be cool. Can you take a progress picture of what the car looks like with the Callaway rear bumper on, but with the stock Camaro front bumper?

Hi everyone I have been making progress on the C8 conversion. I will try to attach pictures. The car is prepped, and the parts are being painted except for the rear bumper. I am waiting for that part to come in. I hope to start reassembling this weekend. I will also try to post pics of that as well.

Awesome. Are you going to stick with the stock light pewter metallic paint or are you going to custom paint it? Any other Callaway modifications or just the CamAerobody?

Hello The coloris going to stay the same, but the front grill is going to be black to match the roof. Also a set of black wheels. Powergroup 3 is possible inthe near future.

Fantastic!

I never paid too much attention to how similar the C16 nose cone is to that of the C8... (I see the heritage) :thumb1

Are you keeping the original paint color?

Painting the grill black should look really nice.

Hi everyone The car is progressing nicely. The left side is done. The right side is almost done. The nose should be done tomorrow, also the right side. I am attatching some more pictures now, and if all goes well I will post more tomorrow. I hope all is well for everyone after IRENE roared thru.

This is the first time I've seen a CamAerobody install in progress. Keep it up! Loving the pics! :thumb1
