(My first)....still looking good after twenty years!

Post by Callaway Chris » Sat Feb 14, 2009 4:08 pm

...I hadn't taken her out in about a year and a half however, this past week, I thought it was time.

After getting a new starter and inspection/tags, I was back in business... 20 years later, she still looks good! I owe that to garage keeping her every day/night.

Sure, newer Corvettes have improvements. I enjoy every one I have had or driven since. But this is where it all began for me. My first. Not ever for sale :cool

Somewhere, I have a pic from when she was new - here's one from today!

Here's my High School graduation present, and the last car I ever got for free! I still have it, and although it has a little patina on it now, it is still one of my favorite cars. This picture was taken on the lawn of Art Center College of Design back in 1991. That car was a blast to drive in Los Angeles, and I had the top down for over 2 years!

It will probably get torn down and completely restored in 17 years for my son's graduation.
