Anyone have the underhood light burn the back out of the socket? There is possibly a mercury switch in there? What is the solution if the back is burned out? Is there a better replacement? Guys? Guys?
Ha. Thanks.

Re: UNDERHOOD LIGHT BURN OUT
I have switched off mine as because of this mercury switch tends to break and leaves the lights on and draining your battery.
in case of a Callaway engine I would understand the use of such underhood lights but for my standard L98 I just leave it that way.

Re: UNDERHOOD LIGHT BURN OUT
I just pull the fuse (located near the horn) when I show the car. The light comes in handy at night if you ever need to check fluids, etc. My C16 does not have an underhood light so I guess these went away at some point because or customer complaints about battery drain.
