How long will the display be at the NCM? Hopefully it will still be there during the Bash!

Thank you to everyone who's checked out this thread and is as excited as we are about this special display of Callaway Corvettes.
I'll be at the National Corvette Museum this week on Monday and Tuesday, and if in the area, please drop by and say hello. I'd enjoy meeting folks from the forum and talking Corvettes - especially 30 Years of Callaway Corvettes.
If able to make it to the NCM, drop a note to say when:

Great pics, thanks.
Seeing the packaging of the turbo on the Sledgehammer, makes me wonder why that wasn't adopted for all B2K cars?
anybody?

The turbos are on the same place, the intercoolers however are different. My understanding was that Chevrolet limited the changes that could be made to the hood.
Additionally that would have been way to labor intensive to produce.

Meet Frieda: The Callaway Race Car
In late 1993, Callaway’s European distributor, Ernst Wohr, entered a Supernatural car in the European GT endurance series. Ernst had lined up Boris Said as his driver and he approached Reeves Callaway for engines, and some of Paul Deutschman’s time to do the bodywork for the car.
In 1994 the Callaway team placed themselves on pole at Le Mans, by five seconds in the Corvette-based model, and did very well. The car ran the rest of the major endurance races that year and it generated orders for three more cars for European customers.
See this car and many other Callaways in our Exhibit Hall, now through May 5.

Enjoyed seeing most of this exhibit, held over for the C4 Gathering. Chris C. gave an informative presentation on the Callaway businesses and a guided tour of the cars themselves. Many thanks to Chris, Callaway Cars and the owners who made their cars available for the exhibit and for the extension of the exhibit. Good meeting you, Chris. Tom
