I got to ride in & drive Boostedmaxpsi's 1988 b2k

What an awesome car!

Its been several years since I've been in a b2k and my most recent Callaway Corvette experiences have been the SC606 demo car and SC757 Z06.

Of course the C4 feels like a homecoming for me.

I can tell you this car is driven for fun. Cosmetically, its not perfect but its almost exactly where you want a car to be...it rides the line between being nice enough to show but not so mint you can't put miles on without guilt. We did several 0-100 runs on a cool night and this car pulls HARD. Boost was set at a very conservative 50"hg, and it held there perfectly. The car has 2.5 in Corsa exhaust, high flow bullet cats, big wonderbar, Tremec TKO600 replacing the 4+3, new injectors and that's it. Stock tune, Microfueler etc.

I think I could tell a difference between how I remember the spool characteristics of my no cats/2.75" Power Effects setup, but being able to carry on a conversation or cruise without earplugs is priceless. Corsa makes one of the best engineered products for a C4 Ive ever seen.

The boost came on fast and kept me planted in the seat, Id have love to been in this car at 58-60'hg with no cats. I know the ones on it are super high flow but every little helps. This thing is a VERY well sorted b2k and reminded me of how much fun these cars are and why I am so fond of them. There isn't a stock Vette til a C6 Z06 that has a chance of running with this car.
