1989 CTTC 3" Exhaust

Post by CallawayDreaming2018 »

I'm the new owner of 1989 CTTC 021. I'm about to go through the car front to back and make sure its in perfect running order since its been so lightly used over the past 29 years. In my quest of more horsepower I plan to have a 3" exhaust fabricated with an X-pipe going out to Callaway megaphones. It should really allow those turbos to sing. I've done a bunch of reading on here and it seems in order to fit 3" off the turbos I'll need to run a different oil filter. Does anyone know anymore about this and or have knowledge of the specific parts I need for the filter or adapter?

I plan to start a new thread when I start the horsepower project on this car with lots of pictures so stay tuned.

I know it’s a skinnier filter, I don’t know the part number but have a message out to the guy that runs it. :thumbs

I did 2.75". Did not have to modify filter!? It runs like a banshee now.
