2012 SC606 Engine Coolant exchange procedures

Post by Bmakaz »

I finally took delivery of my 2012 GS Callaway. I am swapping out all the fluids, but before doing the engine coolant does anyone know if there are any addition procedures that must be done due to the supercharger or can I do the following.

1) Drain coolant
2) Pull and clean out Surge Tank 3) Start engine, idle 4 min
4) Top off surge tank 50/50 Dex Cool mix
5) Run engine to operating temperature
6) Let cool
7) Top off if needed

That'll work, adding coolant to fill.

Great thx. I assumed as much, but not knowing if coolant runs into the throttle body or not. Better to ask a question than waste time and frustration as to why the system will not purge.
