ID this sensor, 88 CTTC?

Sensor on diver's side cylinder head between cyls 1/3, has an orange sheath over it. Believe it is a coolant temp sensor, can anyone confirm?

Did some sleuthing. Looks like it’s the cooling fan sensor. Can anyone confirm?
