I would like to purchase a B2K was wondering if there is a database of B2K's that has year, color and major options listed. It would seem like it should be possible with just 510 cars to log. Does a database like this exist?

Callaway Cars can verify any car, but the "database", outside of Callaway Cars, and myself, does not exist.

Nice thing about there being 510 cars, most of the regulars on this site know the cars and can share the history. Which are you looking at?

Thanks Chris. Not a specific car yet but wanted to know what is possible. I like original B2K, 6 speed car that was originally ordered with the Aerobody in coupe or convertible with factory hardtop. I'm guessing that would bring the list below 100 cars.

I am creating a spotters guide for my personal use, just shout out which car you are looking at I might have pictures of old ebay auctions and can confirm details 👍

Given the fact the AeroBody was a late 1989 option and slow to meet demand through production, it wasn't until 1991 when cars really left Callaway Cars, shipping with the AB installed. Most 1989 cars and many 1990 cars, the bodies were sent to the dealer for installat😩ion, as not to hold up shipping of the twin turbo Corvettes.

The first production car which left Old Lyme with an AB was 1989-046

There were other cars ordered with an AB before.

Around 100 cars is probably close to right, or perhaps slightly more/less.

Which car(s) are you looking at buying?

There is a white 91 for sale on Hemmings. It would need a little elbow grease to make it a #1-2 car but as long as it's been for sale a deal could be made.

I saw that car on Hemmings. The paint, front lenses and the aluminum in engine bay all look oxidized like the car sat outside for a long time. That can all be addressed but makes you wonder how the rest of the car was maintained. At the right price it could be a great find or a little bit of a money pit.

I saw that car too and found the dash plaque screws rusted.
This worries me too ! flooded ?
This could be an electrical gremlin car like the steel blue convertible that swirled around California.
