Master John, when are you going to reveal the secret HP it has now ? I received this picture from another Dutch Callaway Enthusiast who recently did an almost 2 hour tour in Old Lyme
and he asked me to say hello to Mike Z from him,
His name is Matthijs and he is Camaro owner and looking to upgrade his engine. *paging Brandon *
just mailed him the link to the forum So he could be LURKING as I post

I recently found out that if you cut into the cowl (windshield wiper area) on the Camaro, a Magnacharger will fit onto the engine. You have to cut out the hood or use a cowl hood though. Of course, it only works on the LS1s, not the LT1s.

Re: seeing RED in Old Lyme
Hello all!
Jeroen van Geffen introduced me to this forum, so why not react on my own pic!?
So, this is big red. I'll post some more photo's of my trip.
Let me introduce myself...
My name is Matthijs Grit and I'm a 32 year old 1999 Camaro Z28 owner from Voorburg (near The Hague), The Netherlands. I've been a Callaway-fan as long as I've been a Corvette fan. LONG! I'm a real car-guy. According to my mom, the first word I said was "auto"(car) That's a good start!
This year I went on holiday to the USa again, this time to NYS, Washington and a lot in between. I just sent a mail to Callaway to see if I was welcome. And I was!!! Mike Zoner gave me a big tour. He even said I could almost do his job!!! So if Kroymans in The Netherlands (European Corvette importer) will become Callaway dealr, Mike should intorduce me!!!
Anyway. The tour was great and it was impressive to see the cars in different stages. The C16 is a beaty! There was a C12 for maintenace and some C6-es in progress as well as a C5. I also got a close look on the cilinder heads, the supercharges, the machnes and even the development of a new exhaust for the '09 Vette. Awesome. I had the time of my life!
So, let me try to post some pics...
For my Camaro I'm looking for more horsepower. On my trip I bought new brakes, Koni shocks and Strano springs. The car is a Z28, but I fotted a SS rear spoiler and original SS wheels. The air intake is modified a little: SS intake, smooth bellow, air filter tray is cut open and there is a throttle body bypass. A 160 degree thermostat is going in soon as well... I hope to someday drive my car on the Nurburgring...
I heard there is a rear Camaro-fan here as well????
Power plans for my car? Callaway heads, LS6 intake and LS6 cam. Headers and exhaust (GMMG?) will be replaced in the future as well. Plans plans plans...
As a hobby I used to build model cars (like the Callaway Speedster ) but hte real thing took over lately. I've had my Camaro for about a year now...
So.... pleased to meet you all and I hope to learn a lot here!
Jeroen, thanks for introducing this forum to me....
Now some pics..., I hope!

Welcome to the site MG. I'm pretty sure I'm the Camaro fan Jero was speaking of.
The GMMG exhaust sounds like a great idea. It sounds really good!

MG,
Welkom!! As Jeroen knows, I lived in Nederland from 1999-2002. We lived in Wassenaar and had a great time in Europe. I really enjoyed the pics. I also had the good fortune of getting to visit Old Lyme this summer. It was a treat. I hope you enjoy this group as much as I do!!!
