Just want to give high recomendations to corvette center in newington. awesome job on my car fixing clutch and fuel injectors, etc. Callaway was unfortunately too busy with all the 25th anniversary cars at the moment. I dont even think they do service work anymore. The past few times got the same response from them which is a little discouraging,so corvette center came to the rescue!! Joanne from callaway recomended them.
short throw shifter is unbelievable and the car runs so smooth with the new fuel injectors.. doesnt even feel like the same car, highly recomend doing that if you havent already. plus new tires now too so more rubber to burn

Callaway will work on your car but you have to wait your turn.
Your car may be 70th in line and scheduled for sometime in Nov. or Dec.
Most people are not willing to wait that long.
If you want someone to rebuild the actuators in your Fx3 suspension, I recommend that you contact Captain Z. They also have the gear to replace the broken gear on the top of the Bilstein shocks. They turn around very quickly! I would recommend them.
Guys, just got back from Finely Fabricated Customs, owner Jeremy Heisler. He worked on Callaways in Texas. I cannot believe how much quicker 90024 is! Larger exhaust, clean & unobstructed, plug wires, pvc valving, plugs, intake paint, polished alum, etc. Clean and fast! Hard to get traction! Woo woo! I recommend him highly. Black Hawk, SD
yeah I did!! had the wheels refurbished, 2 1/2" exhaust installed. taking it to Patriot on Nov 13th for new wastegate springs and additional maintenance
Why do you think it needs new wastegate springs? I highly doubt those are worn out.
My guess is that you over boosting? If that's the case, you have a vacuum/boost line leak. That problem plagued me for a couple of years...turns out it was a stuck EGR valve.
Was told originally with the true dual exhaust that would need red spring installed. now, per email from Scott Rawlings that i just need to back off the preload screws.

If everything is in good order you can safely 56-58"hg with no worries.
If you are overboosting after backing out the wastegate screws, start a new thread and we will help you thru it.
Worth mentioning, Corvette Center in Newington, CT which is operated by Ray Zisa, is a fine choice in servicing classic Callaway vehicles.
Corvette Center did installations of many AeroBody packages in the 80s and 90s, and Ray has served as a Bloomington Gold Division Director and Judge for decades. He KNOWS Corvettes and Callaways. Check them out:
Great topic...would anyone know of a trustworthy shop pithing a day's haul of Omaha, NE.? As near as I can tell thus far, DRM up near the Twin Cities is the best option for us central plains folks.
I am in the Charlotte NC area. Does anyone have a suggestion for diagnostic shops? I have an 88 CTTC that is overheating from a fan (that is working) but not being called to come on at temp. Relays all check out and the fan can be jumped to spin but at 245 i feel it should be kicking on but there is nothing.
