Is there any way to get the head unit to recognize a play list when using a USB storage device for music? I'm talking about a USB stick, not an MP3 player connected to the USB port.
I use my phone for music, so I don't have a separate MP3 player. Per the manual, a phone paired (bluetooth) as a phone cannot also be used as a music player. I could use a standard stereo plug connected to the aux port, but I hate wires.
I've got a USB thumb drive working to play music, but it seems all I can do is select albums/tracks manually. Random play also only seems to work within one artist or album folder, it won't jump to another artist/album until you select one. A play list would solve that.
