I'm with Big John - go for it. I've never understood the Corvette vs. Porsche animosity. Porsche makes some amazing automobiles. My all time favorite is still the 959, closely followed by the 993 Turbo and 930 Slant Nose.

My wife and I joined the local Porsche Club of America chapter shortly after she bought her 911. Everyone was very nice until they found out I had Corvettes. After that, most treated me like an alien. :wtf

Do not know about parts prices in USA for 928 but overhere it is the most expensive Porsche to maintain.

a 911 is cheaper in driving and maintanence :conf

I like the 911 SC and specially the 930 ( 911 turbo ) but my all time favorite Porsche is the 356 and even considering building a 356 speedster kitcar
