Will a C6 Callaway do 200 MPH?
The local Cars and Coffee is having a special display in December - Over 200 MPH cars. Given that this is Scottsdale, the display will no doubt be loaded with high-end Porsches, Lamborghinis, and other exotics - likely even a Veyron or Chiron.
I'd love to be able to represent for Corvette in general and Callaway in particular, but I can't find any documentation of top speed for the C6 Callaway. Documentation would be handy, because I'm guessing they won't believe me - the show organizers seems to have an anti-American car bias from my observations.
I'm not really in a position to go out and see if I can crack the 200 MPH mark either.

I found this in a magazine about the 2008 C16. Seems it might fit what you need. Your B2K has almost as much HP and deserves to be there! I’ll bet Chris has some material.
Our customer gets an individually built, uniquely styled automobile that can go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds, runs the quarter-mile under 11 seconds, and delivers a top speed of 210 mph (with a manual transmission)," exclaims company founder Reeves Callaway. "Additionally, it can be serviced at your local Chevy dealer and comes with a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty."

Now that sounds promising! Do you happen to know the magazine and month/year? Maybe I can find an online copy.CalJim wrote: ↑Sun Nov 11, 2018 10:19 am I found this in a magazine about the 2008 C16. Believe your car was 205 mph, at least. Let me see about documentation.

There's a document I am thinking of, but still need to locate. I'd sign up for it, and put me as a reference for questions in the meantime.

It's not really 'sign up', it's just 'show up', but I probably will go in any case. In part, because I'm wondering if they will challenge me about it.
I've still got you and Reeves on my cell phone. Heck, I can have them call Reeves for verification. (kidding, of course).

Re: Will a C6 Callaway do 200 MPH?
I re-read the email and there was actually a sign up process, so I sent it in. Got the confirmation note back almost right away. Although they said there were trying to limit the display to "factory spec" cars, the said to bring her "because Callaway is such a highly respected company".
Maybe I was wrong about their bias.
Show is next Saturday. I'll post some pics.

Pretty sure "The Factory" was aware of "the spec"
Good luck at the event! Post video / Pictures.

Re: Will a C6 Callaway do 200 MPH?
The show was today. All in all a really nice Cars and Coffee gathering. I think there must have been 250-300 cars there at the peak. They organize the cars by Italian, German, British, European (no idea why there is a separate 'European' section), Asian, and American - plus the featured car display. Personally, I think the Callaway looked right at home in the featured row, but I'm not sure the bulk of the spectators did.
Unfortunately, being a pretty informal show, there were no signs saying that the featured cars were all in the 200 MPH club. Given that the only American cars in the featured group were me and a brand new ZR1 (and a couple of Ford GTs), in among about 40-50 Lamborghinis, Porsches, McLarens (who knew there were so many orange McLarens in Scottsdale?), Ferraris and more, I think most figured we were dumb Corvette guys who didn't know enough to park in the American car section.
The Callaway did get some attention, which considering the company I was in, I think is awesome.
This one wasn't in the featured display, but given that that is a 12 cylinder engine stuffed into a Cobra, I'm pretty sure it would smoke most anything that was featured. This was the only other Corvette in the featured display - a new ZR1. I think I saw the same wing on an Accord in the Asian section. This is where the crowds were in the featured area. A La Ferrari and a Maserati that I can't identify.

Great pics! Your car looks wonderful.
The Maserati is an MC12. It was based off of the Ferrari Enzo.

'Official' photos from the event have been published here: https://photos.scuderiasouthwest.com/20 ... Gathering/
Some beautiful cars were on display. Nothing of the Callaway, unfortunately.

Which is odd considering someone took 3 pictures of the Ranchero
