Who is willing to help park Callaway Corvettes in the morning at Carlisle?

Post by Callaway Chris »

Who is willing to help park Callaway Corvettes in the morning at Carlisle?

Every year for the past 17 years, I wake up before the sun rises and head to the show field. I enjoy watching the sun rise and help park Callaways in the Callaway Owners Group Row, greeting everyone as they arrive.

Every year, other Corvette owners try to park in the row early, and I have asked them to move. Most are polite and do so without issue. Some, cuss and make foolish remarks. Kinda sad, really.

Anyways, this year, it's going to have to be different. As a company, Callaway is going to be lighter in "crew" and I need to set up the company display every morning. I am asking for volunteers to help park cars and take care of the area on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday mornings. Who is available from 6:30-9:00?

Please post if you can help out, and which days. Thanks.

Let me know what days/times you need assistance and I'll be there.

Did they change the time when reservations are no longer valid? As I recall last year club/group reservations for parking blocks were valid until 10:00 am and after 10:00 anyone could park in any area. A major topic of discussion at my Corvette Club meeting Monday evening centered around the supposition that the 10:00 am limitation was changed to 8:30 am ... so you had better get there early.

It was 10 AM, then I heard 9, but let me verify.

Parking assistance is needed on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday AM. I usually arrive before 7 Am and watch the sun rise.

Thank you to those wiling to help. Ben, which days are you at the show? Kingforward, I have your days down, and will get with you, also.
