Would you modify a mint B2k?

This car has just 3700 miles....would you pull the Auto trans and swap in a ZF 6 speed and Dana 44?

Nice piece, I don't think I would. How many verts exist that are pure stock? If you want to "buy it n drive it", then modify it! If you want to preserve it, don't!

It’s interesting. That car has been for sale for more than a decade. Last sold at BJ in 2004, I think.

My take is a 6speed car would have sold multiple times over in that time. The auto has a very very limited audience.

I’d be tempted to buy a low mile 89 6 speed and swap the parts.

I'd walk away from the car too cause Automatic but when prices are going up maybe this is the only way to grab one and do the conversion.

Nope. I would not. However, the automatic is holding that car back in value (IMO) vs if it were a 6-Speed.

Probably not, at least not an Aerobody...now if #48 had 4,000 miles instead of 40k and were in #1 condition it'd be a tough call but I'd have to say it would be modded pretty much to the same specs it is now. :jsmile
