This is a really nice event, and one where the promotor has done really nice job in the past with their other Corvette shows in Texas.

The car is one of the five “experimental” cars built on the Bowling Green assembly line in 2009 for Callaway (“EX16”). They were the first experimental Corvettes built by GM for racing since the 60s GrandSports. It’s a cool Callaway Competition story for another day. Here are the five built at Callaway’s Leingarten shop in Germany in 2009 and one of them on the BG production line;
