Dakota,
Do not hold your breath too long
or you should put me in your last will for your Callaway
btw Chris , which shop ? CT or CA
I am curious too of what the gents will do to create a powerfully engineered Camaro.

Re: ..they're here!!!!
Very cool. Disappointing the first one, which will likely be used for promotional stuff, is silver though. I'm tired of seeing silver Camaros, been seeing them every day since the 2006 concept.
I hope this one ends up with a custom paint color!

Interesting. Sid @ Harchelroad is a great Callaway dealer. for sure! And so is his son, DIllon.
The way the warranty works, if a powertrain item fails due to the Callaway Component, it is covered by Callaway - The Callaway warranty supplements and parallels the GM warranty for 3/36

Re: ..they're here!!!!
Hot damn! You ordered it how I would have ordered mine given the colors available! Good choices Anthony!
Hope Callaway comes out with their own stripe kit. Tom Henry Racing is using the dual stripes similar to the convertible concept, but if they weren't, I would suggest that!

Re: ..they're here!!!!
very nice car Anthony, really like the Camaro 5 looks.
When you speak to Mike again , please mention that price quote for the lenses.
I am not pushing him as I need to save up money before I can even think of buying anyhow but I want to compare prices new vs used.

Thanks Brandon,
My father and the entire family went down to order it before he got sick the second time. It looks like this car might be the last we all order together, so it was imperative that we follow through on it. We originally had a yellow one picked out, but my mom and dad loved the Orange when we saw the options in the book.
We got the matching interior, 2SS, LS3 with a 6 speed, matching engine cover(Mike said he would paint the Callaway fuel rail caps to go with this option), RS package, Short throw Hurst shifter, Polished wheels, Stripes, and a few other things I can't remember.
It came in about a month ago, and I just got back from China, so I stopped in and picked it up. It is waiting in my wharehouse for its trip to Callaway. Then it will sit and wait for my mom and dad to get back from Texas.
I'll send some better pics. The color is fantastic in the sun. Pics don't do it justice...
Anthony

Re: ..they're here!!!!
I'm glad your dad is still hanging on, I bet he really gets a kick out of seeing that new Camaro. I'm also glad you ended up with an orange one instead of yellow. I don't think you'd probably be happy with the yellow one over time, it looks kind of cheap and doesn't compliment the any of the wheels in my opinion. The inferno orange color is definitely THE COLOR to get one of these in. Close second and third are Cyber Gray and Aqua Blue metallic.
Here's the last orange one I saw...

Re: ..they're here!!!!
I might.
I'd probably wet my pants more seeing one in person. Chris will have to let me know if one gets sent to a Dallas dealership!!!
