This pair of cars got me thinking.

Which do you like more than others, and for which reasons?

I have both. 91 #505 of 500 series and 87 gnx #97 both very special cars to me. I find that buick people dont appreciate the callaway and vette people dont appreciate the buick. Both fun to drive, low maintenance. cant say that for my lambo that is always in the shop.

They are like my children, I love them both in different ways. I've had the GN since 1991, and the Callaway since the early 2000's. The GN (modified) runs low 10's on 20psi, is completely street-able, has room for the entire family, and still has the fear factor with people of "o-SH*T don't mess with that car. The GN negatives: Handles like a a typical 80's sedan and the seats suck.
The Callaway: Very rare, slightly modified (custom program, cat deleted, dialed up fuel and turbos), runs real strong, and i like the fact that I can say "I have one, and you probably don't." Negatives if you don't know what it is, you have no IDEA what it is (true Super car). It seems like most reviews of Corvette history or the C4s either make no reference to the cars existence or don't speak very highly of it.

I have them both. Contrary to what the internet said, the Callaway Corvette is quicker than the Buford Turbo. 1987's quickest was Callaway.
