Doesn't $45k feel pretty cheap for a '91 Aerobody B2K with low-ish miles?

JRW, I think so, at least by a smidge. However, I think the yellow one which Jonstr posted two weeks ago was an even better steal of a deal. That car should've sold for $60-$65k IMO. Not the $52k it sold for.

that car needed some work. Multiple Aerobody cracks and damaged areas and the under hood is going to need a serious detail to bring the car up to where it should be. Possibly needed a repaint.XTREMETUNING wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 6:29 pm Doesn't $45k feel pretty cheap for a '91 Aerobody B2K with low-ish miles?

That car was a steal at 45k. It had the Aerobody coil overs shocks and Brembo brakes on the front Bridgestone run flats .A little body work and paint that car was a deal.

I don't think it was a bad deal. I think it was priced close to right. If a paint job is 10k, the car should have sold around $38-40K IMO.

Obviously without seeing the car its hard to tell whether it needs $1k-$2k in detailing or $10k-$15k in fresh paint and bodywork. Makes a huge difference in determining the value for the buyer.
It feels like the Callaway market is trailing the overall collector car market in appreciation with only a few exceptions that have done very well on BAT. I'm never sure how long I'll hold on to mine for and would obviously like to get out at or near the peak in value. I'd probably try to find a cheaper one that I could drive and enjoy a bit more.
