Talking with Luigi the other day, he asked how to touch up the paint on his 1991 B2K intake plenum. Luigi, I hope you wrote down what I told you ;)

I offer the following:

3M Window Weld sealant for AeroBody lights - No. 08609

And: Chip Guard

The B2Ks (at least my '91s) use these ear clamps all over the motor.

I had a heck of a time finding them until someone steered me to the manufacturer at http://www.oetiker.com. The kits can be bought through W.W. Grainger and other local suppliers. I think I bought mine directly from Oetiker.

According to LIFTMAN the ones he got looked like stockers.

My guess is if the color on the top is the same the judge would be none the wiser unless he read it on this board. :joker :-Laugh

I talked to John Banner at FIC about a set of injectors for the Speedster not long ago. The "identical" injectors are actually Delphi, not the Bosch Gen III (if that's what you meant). FIC has the Delphi injectors available (but I decided to go with the Gen IIIs for the Speedster since they worked so well on the yellow car).

Youre definitely more in the know about it than I. I take it the Delphi's are the new style dry coil like the Gen III's?

I just wish I had a fraction of this knowledge back when I was tuning my car. Life would have been so much easier.

That's a good question that I didn't think to ask. I assume they are dry coil, because Jon said they were not affected by the ethanol like the original injectors. However, I suppose its possible they are still wet coils, but a different material/epoxy was used in the coil (the ethanol in today's fuels would deteriorate the epoxy in the original coils over time).

Use it to get the proper texture on the AeroBody rub strip and the rear plate fill areas. :thumbs
