Turbonetics Deltagate MarkII diaphragm

Post by 84gticallaway »

Hi new member and just posted pics in the intro section of my 1984 Callaway Gti. I believe my original Deltagate may have a torn diaphragm (ok no jokes please!) and will need a rebuild. I think the Deltagate MarkII was also use on other Callaway models but have not confirmed yet. Other than the diaphragm are there any other serviceable parts that would need replacing during a rebuild?
Thanks!

That is a different gate than used on the Corvettes. I’d reach out to turbonetics directly about a diaphragm.

I’ve got a ton of old C1 parts including old turbos, drawings, manuals, etc.
PM me a pic of things you need and maybe I can help too.

The Turbonetics are not reliable,

I would suggest upgrade to tial or turbosmart 38mm , this deletes the hard to find bellows too.
