Hell yes. I wasn't kidding. I hope it does go for $400+, and I would probably put mine up there. I've got the Speedster and L88 banners.*89x2* wrote: ↑Fri Jan 22, 2021 9:04 pm Mine dried up, cracked, and fell apart. I threw them in the trash.
Callaway Cars was talking of making them again in heavy vinyl, but not sure they ever did. The price is what it is... DOn't like it, don't buy, but the seller is proud of theirs, and rightfully so. We all want the most out of what we have, right?

I own the LM, the speedster and recently acquired the C16.
Thinking about the new batch Callaway is selling I like the Alfa too.
I hope mine are not cracking and falling apart, did you hang them in a sunny place?

They were hanging in the back of the garage, out of sunlight. Just got brittle.Jeroenvgfn wrote: ↑Sat Jan 23, 2021 4:22 am I own the LM, the speedster and recently acquired the C16.

Did you buy the reproduced ones from Callaway, or the originals?

Re: BF Goodrich Banner of Callaway
That one was origonal and it sold well. I sold one just like it a while back for around $300. The reproductions look HORRIBLE. Ive reported that guy to both Ebay and BFG for copyright enfringment but they keep on letting him list them. Its good to see people recognize the real thing still ( like callaway converted aerobody cars..... but I digress). UV rays are a definate killer for these. Even if they were exposed early in their life. I'm sure there were more than one firm tasked in creating these, which may explain the issue with the banner Chris had. I have an N.O.S. Red LM banner in which the edges were never bound or rings installd. It is very soft & pliable. My goal is to get it dry mounted/framed once the new place is finished. I'm out of wall space now.

I totally agree. I had my spare set of A-molds with the taller sidewall pilot sport 345's on it in this picture. The 20+ year old Gatorbacks are a little hard for driving. Its a completely stock 91' w/ 9901 miles. It earned NCRS Top Flight with a score 99.5% in August of 19, Its currently up on Hemmings auction site to make room for a callaway version in the near future.Jeroenvgfn wrote: ↑Thu Feb 04, 2021 7:04 am Maybe a little too high in the back, I love lowered cars

JK, I couldn't agree more. The Banners take up more room than I have wall space. I collected most of the 2' X 3' posters back in the mid 90's via "mail order" from Herman Marketing. I think they were $7.50 ea. So cool that they featured THREE Callaway cars back in the day. Framing is going to cost a bundle.kingforward wrote: ↑Fri Jan 22, 2021 9:30 pm These were great BFG ads...F39DB718-A69A-4FA6-B290-728DCBE16DDA.jpegACE80F21-D502-476E-8576-906DE9E4059C.jpeg
