Mmcgue wrote: Tue Jun 11, 2024 5:50 pm I am selling my 1989 B2K #35. Red exterior, black interior, black convertible top, six speed, fully optioned. It has 20,878 miles and is the only known NCRS McLellan Mark of Excellence Callaway Twin Turbo winner. The most recent three owners are NCRS 400 level judges. The only parts that I know are not original are: newer Delco battery, Delco oil filter, fuel injectors and one fan relay (I have a NOS relay but not installed). Car includes a newer set of BF Goodrich tires mounted to 1989 stock rims (in addition to original Goodyear Eagles mounted on the Dymags) and a custom fitted flannel cover. Clean Michigan title and CarFax (of course). Car recently scored 99.7% for Top Flight at Illinois Chapter NCRS event. Car functions as new, is fully documented with all original literature. Car has been featured in Corvette and The Corvette Restorer magazines.
Please email me if interested and I can send additional information, answer questions and send pictures: michael.mcgue@icloud.com
PLEASE: serious inquiries only.
I am only listing the car here and on the NCRS website for now. Price is S42,000 but I will consider reasonable offers. Car is located in southwest Michigan.
Update: Car is now listed in an auction on eBay.

1988 Callaway on BAT
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1988- ... rtible-15/
At a quick glance, it doesn't look like a bad car, but can anyone explain why the 'Callaway' logo on the Dymags appears to be cast upside down? I looked up a few other Dymag pics for reference, and I don't see that.

Ugh - that would send my OCD into overdrive. I'm so glad the Dymags on my '91 didn't have that logo upside down. I'd have been scouring the country for another set.SurfnSun wrote: Wed Jun 26, 2024 7:01 pm Probably depended on who put the stamp in the mold on a given day. Never noticed that before

1990 Callaway ZR-1 on BAT: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1990- ... -coupe-22/
Does anybody know anything about this car? It does need some TLC, but the listing says 26K miles - however the chassis shots look a bit more tired than that.

Somehow I missed this. Turbo Luigi's old C16 is on BAT. But move fast, the auction ends in a few hours.

*edit* I just realized this car is in my backyard too (Mesa AZ). I wish I'd seen the auction earlier. This would have been worth a look.
