A great and memorable day yesterday with Callaway Crew and Owners. “Frieda” was the most original car in the field of ten historical LeMans Corvette racers.

Legendary Shelby Daytona designer, Peter Brock was a judge and appreciated Frieda’s “rawness” including her original decals, LeMans rock chips and paint. All the other race cars were restored to perfection and trailered to the field. (I drove Frieda to the show field on Saturday afternoon entering via Amelia Parkway. She has this loud rumbling V8 racecar sound. The local police officers smiled as they pointed me to the entrance. “Raw” indeed!)

Great to hang out with Reeves, Ernst, Paul D, Mike Z, Mike R, Jim Z, Lance, Matt L, Kent H, Walt T, Pat C, Walker, and all our special ladies.

Mega shout out to our “Critt 99” for pulling together a “Callaway Competition Book” for the Amelia judges. It is a terrific documentation of the C4 Callaway SuperNatural Corvettes @ LeMans that hopefully, he can share with all my COG brothers, too. Thank you.
