@SurfnSun, speaking of the center caps, mine were worn, the gaskets shot, and pretty marred up around the bolt holes. I have a set of NOS caps to replace them. Based on the wear marks on the old caps and the wheels I don’t like how they contribute to taking the finish off the wheels. If I go to a car show I might pop the new ones in once I get there, besides I like the open look, it reminds me of the Challenge cars or when Callaway was running top speed tests. Also according to my digital scale you can save 5.31 lbs of un-sprung weight by leaving them off. lol

New gaskets can be had on ebay for cheap.
I am not a huge fan of the look of having them off but a lot of guys do it. That is a personal preference thing.
As far as weight goes, Im not interested in a C4 as a go fast/race car any more. Time has moved too far along.
I love them and a fast b2k is very enjoyable, but Im not going to sweat the weight of center caps or even a sound deadening project. Thats just me though.

SurfnSun, haha I weigh everything out of curiosity and keep logs. I started doing it with other cars years ago and it’s just second nature now. I have new gaskets for the NOS center caps so that is not an issue.
