August is here, which means it’s nearly time for the annual Callaway Reunion at the Corvettes at Carlisle show in Carlisle PA August 22-24.
In two-weeks, we’ll join Team Callaway at Carlisle where so many came to celebrate the vehicles and work of Reeves Callaway. Aside from the camaraderie of sharing your Callaway vehicles with one another, you will have an opportunity to speak with Team Callaway and several more Corvette industry icons.
A special pair of Callaway Corvettes will be on display in “Building T” during the weekend. Gary Nichols’ 2012 RPO B2K 25th Anniversary Coupe and David Johnson’s 1994 Twin Turbo ZR-1 AeroBody will be showcased at the event. It’ll be a great celebration of Reeves and everything Callaway Cars/Callaway Competition. Callaway Owners Group parking is located in spaces I J 67-76 / I K 63-74 (map attached – enter through Gate #3)

Carlisle Events is hosting the Corvette Challenge Reunion this year which celebrates the 1988-1989 factory racing Corvettes. These Regular Production Option (RPO) Corvettes were not only unique in their production, but the series showcased Corvette performance to the world in the televised series.
Many drivers from the series will be at the show, including famed actor and Corvette Challenge driver, Bobby Carradine, who portrayed fraternity president, Lewis Skolnick in the Revenge of the Nerds movie classic. As a fellow nerd, I look forward to meeting Carradine and hearing a bit of his history.
I have pre-registered for this event and hope to see you there - Whether you bring your Callaway vehicle or not, this is a not-to-be-missed event.
