Sellability of original owner 1990 Callaway Aerobody.
Bought new in 1990. The car has less that 2500 original miles. Yellow with a black interior. It has been in a climate controlled garage since new.
I had the original turbos upgraded by Evergreen. I personally have a DynoJet chassis dyno. The car has made 730 rwhp while appearing 100% original. I have every part to return it to the stock Callaway condition. The car has an interesting history dating back to seeing it be built at the Old Lyme Connecticut facility. Heck, Reeves even took me for a ride in his helicopter. I was there for a week.
The interior smells like the car is brand new. The exterior is flawless.
Just curious what the value of a car like this is.
Thanks!

With that low mileage may need new hoses; they tend to rot from the inside out!

Steve,
Good to hear from you. The market has cooled a little bit on the B2k cars this year. However, yours is very special in the the fact that its super low mile but also makes crazy HP. As to whether that will hurt or help I cannot say.
Do you have a number in mind?
Best,
Josh

Hey Josh, good to hear from you.
I was hoping you or one of the forum members might have an idea as to what I can sell it for.
Thanks!

Thanks Jim!
If I think back to 1990 and what i had to do to get this car, I should probably just keep it.

Steve,
Bring a Trailer might be the best place to list. I was chatting with another owner yesterday. $75-80k was a consensus listing price...unless you're selling it to me for a whole lot less
Best,
Josh

So is this car for sale or ??
I'm in the market for one but not in the 70-80k range.
Sounds like a great car.

Lmk if it is and info please.
Also anybody else selling or about to sell?

Mobile Man - Sorry this one wasn't available after all. If you don't already, watch bringatrailer.com. Callaways of all types pop up there from time to time, and often there is someone here who is familiar with the car, since it's a relatively small family.Mobile Man wrote: Sun Jan 05, 2025 3:11 am So is this car for sale or ??
