Hello,
I’m putting a harmonic balancer on one of my C5’s soon which got me thinking about the balancer on my Callaway. The C6 Callaway balancer is pinned on of course. I assume it’s the magnuson pin kit with two dowel pins, correct? I’ve pinned balancers on before but never changed a pinned balancer. When replacing a pinned balancer how do you get the pin holes lined up and drill out the half of the hole that would be in the new balancer?

Re: C6 harmonic balancer
I recently had mine done, so I can't say. I did replace it with an ATI and my shop drilled and pinned it the same as Callaway did.

Re: C6 harmonic balancer
The shop must have drilled new pin holes for your ATI damper. The magnuson pins are drilled directly in the front end of the crank snout. ATI pins are drilled in the side of the crank snout at 90 degrees to the crank. I suppose it’s possible to drill the magnuson style pin setup into an ATI damper.
